3rd place goes to Nick Vass for his image showing a mystical scene of a classic wooden tender, the serene nature that the water can form and the array of colours and textures found afloat both on the coast and inland on the rivers and canals.
3rd Place: Nick Vass
The Marine Amateur Photographer of the Year Competition ran throughout November 2022 with entries closing on the 11th December. A significant number of entries were received depicting a host of scenes of life on and around the water, making the judges’ decision very hard.
Our winners will be receiving prizes soon, including chandlery vouchers, branded clothing and their images published online as well as featured in our Stoneways 2023 Marine Calendar. Alongside the top three winners, nine other photographers’ images were chosen as runners up and their photos are featured in the 2023 Stoneways Marine Calendar.
Keith Lovett, our Managing Director said, “I was truly impressed to see the number and quality of entries submitted to our 2022 photography competition and it took some lengthy discussions among the team to decide on the winners. Thank you to everyone who entered and congratulations to all the winners. We will certainly be running the competition again in 2023 and I look forward to seeing the spectacular images taken during the up-coming boating season.”
